Banashri Karmakar

I am a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and Automation, IISc Bangalore under the guidance of Dr. Arpita Patra. Before joining IISc Bangalore, I worked as an engineer in Radisys India Private Limited, Bangalore for nearly 2 years.

I received my M. Tech degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Bhilai under the supervision of Dr. Dhiman Saha. Prior to that, I gained experience working as an assistant systems engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, Kolkata for approximately 1.5 years. I did my B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Serampore under MAKAUT, WB university.

I was born and brought up in the village of Haripal in West Bengal and received my early education at Haripal Gurudayal Institution and Haripal Tirthabasi Girls’ High School.
